The Vittoria Corsa Control G2.0 is a durable tubeless-ready road bike tyre that is bursting with technology, designed and built for racing on the roughest roads. At the heart of this new tyre lies the supple 320 TPI Corespun cotton carcass helping the tyre to conform closer to the tarmac, which increases grip, reduces rolling resistance and improves ride quality. Famous for their use and development of graphene in road bike tyres, Vittoria has refined their latest G2.0 compound.  With this new graphene compound, Vittoria can now manipulate the core molecular structure of the rubber to specifically enhance the speed, grip, durability or reliability of a tyre. Taking this a step further and using the G2.0 compound in conjunction with 4C technology, Vittoria can even optimise the rubber compound in different areas of a tyre's tread. Using this technology, the molecular structure and thicker tread pattern at the centre of the Corsa Control G2.0 has been tailored to offer durability, while the chevron pattern and molecular structure on the tyre shoulder ensures maximum grip on unpredictable surfaces. In this tubeless-ready iteration, you can ride the Vittoria Corsa G2.0 tyres at even lower pressures to increase puncture protection, grip and comfort even more.

Nice but not durable

These tires set up tubeless easily on my '19 Giant Defy Advanced Pro 0 with the carbon SL1 wheels using Orange Seal Endurance sealant. I am 160 pounds and running the 28c at about 65psi on the front and 70psi on the rear, ride mostly chip seal pavement and some smooth city pavement. The initial ride was terrific and the tires felt very supple and offered good grip. The rear tire really started to show wear after about 600 miles and the ride quality started to get a bit more harsh. The front with the same mileage has probably half the wear of the rear tire. At around 800 miles I started to get some small punctures that sealed nicely with the sealant but started to notice several cuts along the centerline of the tread. With 1,230 miles I replaced the rear as I did not want to push my luck to squeeze a few more miles out of the rear tire. At this rate I expect to get about 2,000 miles out of the front tire. Overall, this is a very good tire initially that was quite easy to set-up tubeless, but wears quickly, especially on the rear. Definitely not a high-mileage tire by any means so be prepared for a relatively short life cycle.

Excellent all round tyre

Excellent tyre for autmn/winter condition, little bit noisy while cornering, but the grip is excellent. Not the fastest tyre, but it feels very secure on damp/moist roads. The wear is medium, after 1k, it still does not show any signs of significant wear, so it seems like it will last good.
